Our client is a market leader in its industry and partner to over 2oo customers with a comprehensive portfolio offering: Catering and Hospitality Solutions. He operates in on six continents. For the Corporate Development we are looking, as soon as possible, for a Senior Manager Corporate Development.
As part of a small high-performing team reporting to the Group VP corporate development, the successful candidate will, among others, Play a central role in the corporate development at group level, providing the strategic framework for the business planning cycle, preparing and documenting strategy sessions of senior management and ensuring strong alignement of divisional business plans with the strategy, notably by contributing to the planning process, to target-setting, and challenging the brand strategies. Lead and coordinate specific corporate development projects, notably by developing market knowledge, preparing business plans including the preparation of implementation. Participate in the merger and acquisition process, notably by project screening and actively supporting pipeline management. Participate in merger and acquisition processes, especially at the initial stage through market and strategic contributions Continuously strengthening the team’s knowledge and its services to the business notably in terms of knowledge management. Candidates for this position shall hold an advanced university degree from a reputable institution and a proven track record of 6-8 years from a top management consulting Firm (senior associate, project manager level) and/or in a strategy / corporate development role within an international company with possibly experience in the travel, logistics and/or hospitality industry. The skills required to successfully deliver in this position are Sharp analytical mind, able to navigate between strategic rationale, tactics and detailed data-driven analysis of financial and operational nature; The ability to communicate effectively with senior / executive management, notably by storylining and preparing compelling high-quality presentations, with diplomacy and sensitivity for cultural differences; Strong autonomy and self-motivation, flexibility, tact and sensitivity, allowing to effectively and reliably assume the role of project manager with a hands-on attitude by ensuring leadership and delivery in the process and the content.
