This is an exciting and diverse role for an experienced Laboratory Technician or for someone with a Bachelor/Master Degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) or equivalent work experience, looking to gain experience of working for the world’s leading supplier of laboratory systems and solutions.
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site Installation, Diagnose, Repair, Maintenance and Qualification services of Agilent and multi-vendor hardware/software/network solutions. The engineer ensures customer satisfaction by providing insights on usage, preventive maintenance and configurations, which may affect product performance. Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business. Delivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software. Serves as an internal resource on technical issues. May train other field engineers or customers.

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) or equivalent work experience e.g. Laboratory Technician.
• The ideal candidate has hands-on Chromatography experience - knowledge of Agilent Hardware and Software products would be an additional advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent soft skills; ability to collaborate effectively on different levels with customers and different company internal departments on a daily basis.
• Fluency in German and excellent English skills
