In order to strengthen our Financial and Administration Team based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting an

General Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager


In charge of management, coordination and overseeing of all general accounting and financial activities including monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting, ensuring IFRS and Swiss GAAP compliance, and managing a team of 5 people.



  • Implement and maintain continuous assessment of the close process and controls, and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period, making the necessary changes to upgrade systems and policies and procedures.
  • Manages the month-end close process ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data, including cross validation with different sources of information
  • Maintains financial information and general ledger integrity, including reserves, accruals, prepaid and depreciation, and other significant accounts, and ensures the adequacy and completeness of account reconciliations.
  • Prepares and reviews yearly Financial Statements, including footnotes and other disclosures for compliance with local GAAP requirements, up to the annual statutory audit
  • Ensure comptabilisations, balances and reconciliations of bank accounts
  • including hedging transactions
  • managing Third Parties : ageing and credit collections
  • Accounting Management of the Swiss VAT and the foreign VAT
  • Coordinate and ensure proper filling of tax and statutory returns, in collaboration with tax advisors
  • Internal Control System (ICS): develop, review and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements

People Management

  • Mentors, trains and develops General Accounting staff consistent with the vision of the F&A organization and the company, managing team performance in line with company expectations and developing the required skills of the team members

Qualifications / Professional Capabilities

  • University's degree in Finance&Accounting or related field required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience of which at least 2 years of experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus
  • An excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP is a plus
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent French and English; Italian is a plus
