Summary/Scope:  
Preparation of Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) contracts on the basis of contract templates, management of the  IIT contracting process, maintaining the related information systems up to date, optimization of the IIT contracts process. 
This position requires accuracy and sense for details, ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities, and the willingness to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required. 
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Prepare IIT contracts by selecting and completing appropriate contract templates in accordance with the details of the contract requests
2. Review and respond to comments made to draft IIT agreements by IIT sponsor and Celgene stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Global Drug Safety, Affiliates)
3. Support and participate in IIT contracts negotiations with sponsor in close cooperation with Celgene stakeholders mentioned above
4. Update the contract management tools after every step of the contract process in coordination with the other members of the team
5. Prepare, edit and version control of IIT contracts, use appropriate templates and enter the specificities of each contract request in the contract templates
6. Ensure accurate and consistent version control of the contracts
7. Ensure that each contract request has appropriate detailed approval documentation in the relevant share-folders in accordance with the applicable Celgene procedures (e.g., IIT SOPs)
8. Appropriate, diligent, professional internal and external communication with all stakeholders in coordination with other team members
9. Ensure in coordination with the other team members that:
Each contract is entered in the financial system and that appropriate codes are created 
Each final contract follows the appropriate internal approval and signature flow in accordance with Celgene signature policies
IIT sponsors and affiliates send back fully executed contracts timely to the IIT Contracts Team
10. Help the administrative assistant file the fully executed contracts with all required documentation in the appropriate files and databases within required timeframes
11. Maintain the contracts and archives files and related databases proactively and accurately up to date in order to ensure the systems’ capacity to provide real-time information
12. Contribute to continuous improvement  of the IIT contracts process. Participate actively in initiatives and projects which aim at optimizing the IIT contracts process and tools and harmonizing the same within Medical Affairs Operations HQ, affiliates or the rest of the Company 
13. Provide expert advice about the IIT contracts process as needed to senior members of Medical Affairs Operations, or personnel of Medical Affairs or other Celgene functions (e.g., Legal, Global Drug Safety and Risk Management)
14. Provide administrative and project management support to senior members of the IIT Contracts Team

Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of databases including budget management tools 
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry¸ healthcare compliance, Principles of Good Clinical Practice, regulations and regulatory guidelines regarding clinical trials and non-interventional studies
