Medical Affairs Manager

In the role of a Medical Affairs Manager, you will act as the internal and external specialist for all medical/scientific and product related questions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Medical and scientific supervision of the entire product line
  • Answering  medical and pharmaceutical   product requests of physicians, pharmacists, patients and sales force
  • Support marketing and sales in  all medical/scientific questions
  • Medical advice and provision of scientific information in regards to drug safety and compliance areas
  • Initiation and creative input for promotional material incl. checking for medical correctness
  • Support the planning, organization and running of training sessions for internal medical and non-medical personnel
  • Participation at national and international congresses including preparation of presentation material and field force training
  • Medical evaluation of new product ideas
  • Identifying and evaluating relevant medical data (scientific journals, data bases)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MD or pharmacist as educational background
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in medical affairs
  • In-depth medical, scientific, clinical knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of drug advertising regulations
  • High analytical skills, especially with regard to understanding and interpreting of scientific research data and literature
  • Excellent ability to translate and present clinical/medical information
  • Strong Team player with ability to work cooperatively within a cross-functional team and across cultures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and negotiating skills
  • Fluency in German and English  is a must (written & spoken), good  French speaking skills
  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
