Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) of Management Information Systems*

The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics ( www.mtec.ethz.ch ) at ETH Zurich invites applications for the above-mentioned position.

The new assistant professor will be expected to conduct research that focuses on selected challenges in the digitisation of organizations and/or industry sectors, e.g. manufacturing, energy, healthcare, finance, or mobility, including - but not limited to - digital business models, online communities, organizational and technological change, and behavioral implications of information technologies.

Successful candidates have a background in technology coupled with social sciences, and have already demonstrated a promising international research record. The department is particularly interested in candidates who hold experience and interest in transdisciplinary research challenges and industry collaborations. The new assistant professor will be expected to teach graduate level courses, in particular in the Master of Science and in the Master of Advanced Studies in Management, Technology and Economics.

Assistant professorships have been established to promote the careers of younger scientists. ETH Zurich implements a tenure track system equivalent to other top international universities.
