Sporting Manager of a Circuit Racing Category (Based in Geneva - Switzerland)

Within the portfolio of categories managed by the FIA Circuit Championships Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for a circuit racing category. To this end and under the supervision of the Director of FIA Circuit Championships, he/she will handle the management of FIA Commissions, working groups and championships with which he/she is entrusted.
Main responsibilities:
  • Management of Commissions and sporting working groups in liaison with the respective presidents;

  • Administrative and regulatory monitoring of championships;

  • Championship management: coordinating officials and delegates; liaising with the promoter’s operational staff to monitor event organisation and facilities; ensuring a good working relationship with the relevant ASN for each event;

  • Contribution to the strategy definition and development of the category with which he/she is entrusted;

  • Management of a sporting coordinator.

Profile:
  • Fluent English, command of French a plus.

  • Higher education in sports law, management of sporting organisations or equivalent.

  • Significant experience in motor sport (5–10 years), attaining a position of sporting manager or equivalent and good knowledge of sporting regulations.

  • Excellent editorial skills, attention to detail and responsiveness.

  • Good at meeting deadlines.

  • Sense of organisation and prioritisation.

  • Ability to understand technical subjects/mechanisms.

Travel to international events to be foreseen.
