We are currently looking for an Algorithm Developer to join our Development Team in Niederwangen, Switzerland. This is an exciting role where you will be on the cutting edge of cash management technology, contributing to international projects in order to create innovative products for Glory.


  • You will work in a highly motivated team and follow an agile development process
  • You will be helping to develop highly specific algorithms to meet the tight requirements in banknote sorting. These algorithms are running on embedded systems all around the world
  • Although the focus will be on the development in MatLab we understand that a development is only finished once the algorithm runs in the field. For this reason you will be involved in the process from beginning to end.
  • We collaborate with our stakeholders and customers from around the world, so in order to deliver outstanding solutions meeting their requirements you will be liaising with these parties on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintaining the install base in the field is equally as important to the team as new developments as such you will be involved in both of these aspects of our activities
  • Along with the rest of the team, you will strive to continuously improve our development environment and adapt new methods and technologies to keep our competitive advantage




  • Master's Degree, or similar qualification, in Computer Science or Information Technologies or equivalent
  • Up to 5 years of working experience (either PhD or industry) in Software Development
  • Sound experience in machine learning or pattern recognition
  • Knowledge in image or signal processing
  • Expert in MatLab
  • Good programming skills in C++


  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills and hands-on approach
  • Team-player with experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable in an international environment
