For our site in Berne we are looking for a highly committed

Process Engineer DSP
Your main tasks will be:
  • DSP process development, scale up and manufacturing of development/engineering and clinical trial material (CTM) for biotechnologically manufactured vaccines
  • Planning, practical realization and documentation of the assigned project work in line with established procedures (MBRs, SOPs) and regulations (cGMP, ICH)
  • Evaluation of results and data in collaboration with the team leader
  • Key role in writing study plans, study reports, master batch records, SOPs
  • Reporting and assessment of deviations of GMP processes, as well as initiating changes and CAPAs
  • Active participation in the improvement of cGMP compliance, process excellence and process development aspects of CTM manufacturing 

  • MSc degree (or BSc with increased level of experience) in life sciences. PhDs wont’ be considered for this position.
  • Experience in GMP compliant biotechnological manufacturing or development preferred
  • Experience in the downstream processing of biomolecules preferred
  • Team player and a personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work according to tight and changing timelines
  • Business fluency in German and English, understanding of Swiss German is a plus
  • Ability to partner cross functionally with analytical development, engineering, quality control and quality assurance locally and across different sites in the network
