Essential Functions:


  • Lead the Function in the design, implementation and management of the compensation and benefits strategy, philosophy, programs, policies and initiatives that competitively position Eaton EMEA, and are aligned with the strategy, priorities, business model and culture.

  • Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, counselor for EMEA HR Business Leaders and WHQ Compensation and Benefits function representing Europe

  • Provide leadership and adapt compensation and benefits design/approach to align with market trends

  • Develop programs to educate HR, leaders and managers on Compensation and Benefits programs to reinforce the organization's culture and compensation and benefits principles

  • Partner with the businesses to ensure coordination, alignment and proactive compensation and benefits issues management

  • Lead the evaluation of jobs and alignment to existing Global Job Level structures

  • Ensure C&B plans comply with legal and other regulations and manage processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies

  • Lead, manage, and implement the benefits design of the company's health and welfare programs in EMEA, ensuring competitive, sustainable, cost-effective plans and programs

  • Proactively manage relevant vendors, auditors, and consultants

  • Ongoing analysis and evaluation of services, coverage, and options available to ensure programs best meet the needs of the organization.

  • Assist Due Diligence teams as needed to integrate acquisitions

  • Integrate and support all Eaton established processes, such as organizational development, employee surveys, Eaton Philosophy Work Practices, Apex

  • Partners with rest of HR organization to implement standardized global HR processes





  • Bachelor’s degree required/MBA/advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role and process design, management and leadership

  • Excellent financial / business acumen, analytical abilities combined with a clear focus on thoroughness and quality

  • Previous experience leading, managing and building teams in a fasted paced dynamic environment. High energy and drive to create an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of leading practices and external trends in compensation, benefits and HR systems

  • Ability to interact easily across all levels within the organization; tactful, mature, flexible.

  • High level of collaboration and influencing skills. Executive maturity, strong planning, organization, delegation and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering and developing productive relationships with senior leadership and line managers across the business.

  • Self-starter with a proactive and inquisitive nature who can anticipate and preempt problems.

  • Strong strategy development and operational execution capabilities

  • Understanding of culture dynamics across EMEA

  • English fluency required. Any other language a plus
