Supplier and Project Manager

In your role of Supplier & Projects manager in the Supply Chain team within the Medical Device Business you will:

 

  • Seek to develop a mid – long term supply strategy for Medical devices in collaboration with Procurement and other functions.
  • Proactively identify risks with suppliers and lead risk assessment efforts for the products
  • Drive product launches with suppliers and GMS sites
  • Drive business relationship between Global Manufacturing Sites, Medical Device & Services, Supply Network Organization and Procurement
  • Establish, monitor and update Supplier Score cards with responsible accountable stakeholders and production sites inputs
  • Organize and schedule quarterly operational business reviews involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead Supplier Development Projects with responsible accountable stakeholders (procurement, site quality, site supply chain, SNO, MD&S Quality). These can be but not limited to: capacity expansion, quality improvements, cost productivity, regulatory compliance, and new supplier start up
  • Lead other supply chain projects including but not limited to technology upgrades, implementation of new regulatory requirements and new product implementations and ad hoc operations projects within Device Business
  • Support business requirements by implementing agile processes in compliance with Marketing, RA & Quality requirements
  • Contribute, in collaboration with Global SNO and the Medical Devices supply chain team, to company Service, Cost and Cash objectives

 

Who you are:

  • Good understanding of business operations, including marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, and distribution
  • Detailed knowledge of supplier relationship management tools and processes
  • Very strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and teaching skills to interact with cross-functional management and all branches of the organisation
  • Used to working in a large matrix organizations as well as with external suppliers
  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically
  • Ability to get things done in a complex, evolving, intercultural, cross functional and demanding environment
  • Entrepreneurial problem solver with strong program and change management experience
  • Proven project management skills
  • Understanding of ERP tools and related processes
  • Good knowledge of Medical Devices and/ or pharma industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Masters’ degree in engineering, science or numerical subject or relevant experience
  • Fluency in English
