Territory Sales Manager - Switzerland

Standort:  Zurich

Key responsibilities:

  • Independently sell Qlik’s software portfolio in various vertical market within an assigned mid-market territory 

  • Advocate and represent the value of Qlik’s software portfolio to a broad and diverse range of prospective or existing customers

  • Identify and acquire new opportunities with a distinctive HUNTER MENTALITY and using Account Management capabilities

  • Maximize revenue potential in the Swiss Commercial market directly and in collaboration with Qlik’s partners and the Alliances team

  • Manage the designated sector as a business; incorporating customers, prospects, Qlik partners, System Integrators, Qlik's internal lines of business and Industry Forums

  • Target key players in the market segment to ensure strong referencability - Engage successfully with mid-market accounts in Switzerland

  • In conjunction and strong collaboration with pre-sales and consulting services, deliver successful “Proof of Concepts” events and extend Qlik´s footprint with the designated 20 accounts
  • Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from identifying a prospect through to successful closure
  • Engage and develop strong and trusting relationships with decision makers/key influencers within the customer community 

  • Act as an ambassador for the Swiss market; lead and champion Qlik in this strategically important business segment

  • Drive customer success through strong understanding of their business and ability to strongly engage the Qlik value proposition within those customer communities

  • Build up a sustainable and robust pipeline quarter by quarter and ensure accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning

  • Participate and act as spokesperson in trade show events, workshops and seminars as appropriate for the segment

  • Develop long term and trustworthy and collaborative relationships across all levels within the customer/partner/Qlik community

Qualifications and Experience


  • Degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills


  • Proven experience of consistently over achieving in software solutions sales to mid-sized companies
  • Strong understanding of the business processes in the  mid-market segment and the role of the channel partners
  • Demonstrable experience calling on and selling to senior decision makers (CxO's) – in both business and IT
  • Successful track record in selling business application solutions across the Swiss market
  • Solid and credible relationships with key decision makers in respective market
  • Experience working with System Integrators and other channel partners
  • Ability to qualify and prioritize prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills
  • Strong business orientation and commercial acumen
  • Results focused and ability to execute successful plans
  • An outgoing, focused and organized person with a strong will to succeed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment
