The senior Near Infrared spectroscopy algorithm specialist will join the Applications team and will be pioneering the
development of NIR-spectral data analysis and development of calibration and sorting algorithms. He/she will be involved in
understanding application requirements, designing and conducting experiments, developing algorithms for the efficient extraction
of quality parameters, validating results in the laboratory as well as at customer sites, publish scientific results, and interface with
industrial and academia partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to play an important role in shaping, designing,
and deploying new exciting sorting applications for the analysis of grains, seeds and beans.
Your climbing kit
Education: MSc in analytical chemistry, chemometrics, food science, or related fields with emphasis in chemometric
modeling and near-infrared spectroscopy
Programming: Required skills: High proficiency in MATLAB
Desired skills: Unscrambler, WinISI
Experience: Between 1 and 3 years of spectral data analysis and/or food quality management applications.
Travel: Up to 20%
Soft skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, creative, innovative, organized, responsible, get-it-done
attitude, autonomous. Willing to work in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial and demanding environment.
Languages: Fluency in English
