For our EMEA region, we are looking for a



Compliance Counsel Investigations



Your main responsibilities:

  • \n
  • Evaluate and manage complaints and other potential compliance issues arising in EMEA\n
  • Lead and conduct internal investigations in EMEA\n
  • Actively manage and oversee investigations handled by outside counsel in EMEA\n
  • Work with the Vice President, Global Compliance Operations & Investigations, to provide regular updates on investigations and findings to the Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel, and other senior leadership\n
  • Develop remediation plans and policy changes to address potential compliance issues in EMEA, including those identified through investigations\n
  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures and guidance concerning investigations, remediation, and related issues, with an emphasis on general guidance designed to address or avoid similar issues in the future\n
  • Actively monitor developments related to compliance, anticorruption enforcement, and other compliance-related matters, discussing with Team Members and drafting summaries/updates for external stakeholders\n
  • Provide day-to-day compliance guidance and advice to regional Compliance Officers and Team Members as necessary\n
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant trends and activities in the global compliance sphere within the life sciences industry\n


Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • \n
  • Completed law study (Master of Law or equivalent) with good academic credentials\n
  • Minimum of 5 years-post degree experience, with a strong preference in conducting US FCPA- or UK Bribery act-related internal investigations in the life sciences industry is a plusExperience in conducting investigation interviews or depositions\n
  • Strong organizational skills\n
  • Strong detail orientation, with a high degree of ethics, integrity, discretion and professionalism\n
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and work as part of a team\n
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, any other European language is a plus\n
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills\n


Travel Requirements:

In this dynamic jobposition significant regional travel will be anticipated. This Position can be located in Winterthur/Switzerland or any other european Zimmer Biomet Location.
