Responsible for driving quality execution of Talent Management and OTR processes in the 2 Areas, provide consulting expertise and support to the countries and functions within the Areas. The 2 Areas comprise more than 20 countries and more than 600 associates. The role will contributes to the growth and success of Alcon EMEA through a focus on leadership and associate development in the region
Talent Management and Performance:
•Ensure implementation of Global and Corporate Talent Management initiatives/processes (OTR, performance management, Diversity and Inclusion, Mentoring, etc.)
•Develop a talent strategy and plan for the Areas and ensures quality of execution
•Facilitates Area talking talent sessions and builds capability of HR Heads to facilitate sessions and conduct follow-up support actions.
•Lead the execution of and ensures high quality of the PMP Process and performance calibration in the Areas
•Responsible for ensuring there are strong development plans in place in the organization by working with the HR Heads and Business Leaders to coach and support this
•Responsible for aligning performance objectives across the Area LTs and deploying objectives to the Areas Associate and Leadership Development: •Support the deployment of Global Learning initiatives and curriculum in the region
•Provide guidance to HR Heads on best practices to address local learning needs as re-quested
•Align Corporate Learning nominations process with talent strategy and ensure relevance of nominations
•Provide development solutions to the HR Heads and Business leaders
•Provides leadership coaching where required Organizational Development: •Provides consultation to Area HR Heads and Area VPs on strategies for developing people, change management, culture, team effectiveness, employee engagement
•Develop the overall organization health strategy and plan for the Areas (engagement, culture, team effectiveness etc)
•Diagnoses organizational issues and recommends plans for remedial actions Region TMOD Projects
•Will be required to lead Adhoc projects for EMEA as required (e.g. on change management, development plan quality checks, leadership programs development and execution etc)
•Responsible for data and analytics for the Region TMOD and supporting to use the analytics to develop strategies and plans
•Support with preparation of the Region OTR and Talent sessions
•Responsible for coordinating Learning nominations for the region
•Responsible for coordinating the GES for the Region
•Responsible for coordinating submission for all global deliverables on TMODMinimum requirementsMinimum: Bachelors degree in related field Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or HR Fluency in English
• Minimum of 6 years of mixed OD/TM and HR generalist/line experience.
