Open Position at the Advanced Science Research Center in NYC

“Post-Doctoral Fellow for Advanced Nanofabrication Scanning Probe Methods“

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and independent nanoscience researcher

who is interested in interdisciplinary nanoscience. The research position is focused on the

use of the NanoFrazor, the first SwissLitho system in a US academic institution, which will be

located in the Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) in Manhattan, NYC. The ASRC is a

new $350M research institute of the City University of New York (CUNY) with a partnership

with Columbia University.

The goal of this project will be to use the NanoFrazor and the ASRC labs to develop new

innovative nanostructures, nano-devices, and nanofabrication concepts, with potential

transformative applications in nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, mechanics and biomedicine.


 PhD degree in a nanotechnology related field

 Creative, Independent, Motivated, and Solution oriented Researcher

 Hands-on Experience with AFM techniques and various clean-room lithography,

deposition, etching and metrology techniques

 Strong communication skills and willing to interact and collaborate closely with

internal and external researchers, engineers and technicians
