For the Shared Service Center (SSC) department in Switzerland we are searching for a highly motivated and action-oriented:

 

Global Process Expert, Record to Report (f/m) – 100%

 

The role is required to directly support an essential part of the group’s global corporate strategy 2015-2020. The Global Process Expert will lead, shape and deliver against the strategic objectives of the business transformation work stream “optimize back office functions”. Further, the Global Process Expert will support the overall objective of decentralizing, simplifying and standardizing global finance processes which are specific to the RtR process tower: cash management and banking, fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting, GL reconciliations, period end close, financial/regulatory/tax reporting, journal entry preparation and selected consolidation activities to assist in the preparation of the quarterly/annual consolidated IFRS financial statements.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop proposals for the design and drive the implementation of new group finance processes, procedures, systems and reporting
  • Ensure seamless delivery of services from the business process outsourcing (BPO) partner that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Develop, maintain and monitor service level agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with the external BPO partner
  • Take account of financial risk management and adherence to internal and external compliance obligations
  • Champion a process-improvement culture and lead initiatives to examine potential for centralisation and harmonisation of end-to-end RtR processes across the Group
  • Manage effective working relationships and communication between his/her team, BPO and Business Units

 

Your ideal profile:

  • Ideally five years Record to Report work experience in an international and multi-cultural environment with a minimum of two years in a leadership role
  • IFRS consolidation knowledge and experience in similar position with Shared Service Center/BPO experience on a global scale
  • Bachelor degree in Business/ Accounting/ Finance/ Economics (Master degree preferred)
  • Solid commercial/business acumen (understand key levers and end-to-end process dynamics in complex companies)
  • Good understanding of  the interactions, dependencies and challenges at play for the outsourced and retained parts of a firm’s back office system and process landscape
  • Exposure to the (textile) manufacturing/ retail/ wholesale industry will be an advantage
  • Ability to set priorities, to work under pressure and to cope with ad-hoc requirements
  • Excellent MS Office skills and prior exposure to a SAP environment (SEM BCS, BW and R/3 FI)
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (corporate language), further languages desirable
