 Und er the su per vi sion of the Messaging Unit's Head, the resour ce will:

° Assist with organization projects involving the Domino infrastructure

° Install and configure Domino mail and archive servers

° Ensure high availability of messaging services to end users

° Set up and maintain iNotes access through reverse proxies or hardware load balancers

° Maintain IBM Traveler for Blackberry Enterprise Service

° Setup and support application databases with a special focus on the Procurement database

° Maintain and support customized Mail templates

° Install and maintain monitoring tools

° Perform Storage Management

° Act as second and third level support for Lotus Notes users issues

° Open and manage cases with IBM

° Participate in the “on call” roster (for support outside of working hours)

° Perform Domino system administration duties, including:

-          Maintain server and co nfi gur ation do cu ments

-          Main tain datab ase secu rity (A CL)

-          Pr ep are cli ent so ft ware p ackages ( for d epl oym ent on Windo ws d esktop s)

-          Up gr ade Domino ser vers

-          Assi st the b ackup team with any Domino ad d-on or p lu gin

-          Set up and m ain tain IT poli ci es

-          Set up and m ain tain datab ase r epl ication

-          Set up and m ain tain m ail rou ting

R eq ui red Ski lls

-          For mal Edu cat io n:  Degr ee in C ompu ter En gin eer ing or equi val ent.


-          Exp eri ence and ski ll s:

° Minimum of 3 years of experience with Lotus Notes/Domino administration (R8.5.X)

° Strong experience setting up Domino environments and providing support for Lotus Notes users.

° Experience setting up IBM Sametime and IBM Traveler

° Experience with Domino 9 is a plus

° Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

° Ability to write reports and procedure manuals

° Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a wide variety of audiences

° Excellent problem solving skills

° Ability to priorize work and work with minimum supervision
