For our cutomer Roche we are currently looking for a Head of Project Management Officefor a Windows 10+ Project with strong knowledge of Roche Project Management Methodology PMM and its associated documents.


Roche is executing the project for preparing the organization for the global Windows 10 migration and is seeking support for the project in the Project Management Office area. The Win10+ project supports several upgrades:

  • Windows 7 to Windows 10
  • Internet Explorer 10 to Internet Explorer 11
  • Microsoft Office 2010 to Microsoft Office 2016 The Win10+ project impacts Roche and Genentech globally (all sites and business functions)

The purpose of this role is to monitor the day-to-day delivery of the project with strong focus on Roche Project Management Methodology PMM, working closely with all project workstreams with a strong focus on risks and issues and taking operational decisions needed to move forward. This position reports directly to the Windows10+ Project Manager and has a project coordinator and an Intern reporting to them.

Working language is English. High proficiency in working virtually is a must

  Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all aspects of and orchestrate workstreams to pass Go/No-Go milestones (esp. In terms of documentation compliance)
  • Track project documentation progress according to Roche informatics Project Management Methodology PMM and in alignment with IT Quality and the project workstreams
  • RAID mgmt. - Tracking and reporting of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions
  • Following up on project risks and issues where required (analysis of risk/issue, trigger mitigating actions, and follow-up)
  • Change request management
  • Oversee project coordinator and intern supporting in the PM Office
  • Oversee financial management of project
  • Own project plan and manage dependencies between project workstreams
  • Compile bi-weekly project status report
Anforderungsprofil:Qualifications (Must Haves):
  • Previous Roche Experience
  • Project delivery using Roche PMM (Initiate and Define optional, phases and milestones after Baseline Mandatory)
  • Experience with PMM document tailoring
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company as an IT Project Manager using structured project management processes
  • Project Management certification (PMP or similar)
  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of decision taking and escalations handling
  • Structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
  • CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
  • Excellent English language skills
Nice to Haves:
  • +++ Experience in multi-site deployment projects
  • + German, Spanish, other languages

Remote work is an option up to 20%, prior approval required. The suitable candidate may be extended until the end of 2017.
