Join the Wingtra team and become part of this fast growing startup from ETH Zurich! With our convertible aerial robots, we aim for a positive impact on a global scale. The Wingtra 1 is a tool that improves search & rescue chains, inspects linear infrastructure, protects large wildlife areas and increases agricultural efficiency.

We want to bring this first convertible aerial robot to market. For that we are looking for intellectually curious leaders and dedicated team players who drive Wingtra forward. For the product development and rollout extensive flight testing of our product is necessary. Joining the Wingtra team you will be part of the test pilots crew accompanying the developers on R&D flights as well as the business team on demo flights with potential customers. You will be responsible for:

  • Save flight operation of the drone at all times
  • Saving the drone in critical situations during the testing of new features
  • Successful operation even in harsh environmental conditions

Joining the Wingtra team, you will gain a deep insight into applied robotics and you will have a personal impact on both the new technology and the organization itself.

  • +3 years experience in RC aerobatic airplane flying
  • You can hover an aerobatic airplane
  • Knowledge in at least one of the following domains: Electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, software development, product development, technical sales, recruiting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Honest, humble, and self-motivated
  • Software development skills (C++, pyhton, JavaScript) or CAD knowledge
  • Familiar with PX4 flight stack, ROS, POSIX, low level communication (CAN, I2C)
  • Leadership experience in professional setting or extracurricular (sports, scouts, etc)
  • Comfortable to take responsibility
  • Knowing Carl Olsson
