About Us

Join the Wingtra team and become part of this fast growing startup from ETH Zurich! With our convertible aerial robots, we aim for a positive impact on a global scale. The Wingtra 1 is a tool that improves search & rescue chains, inspects linear infrastructure, protects large wildlife areas and increases agricultural efficiency.

We want to bring this first convertible aerial robot to market. For that we are looking for intellectually curious leaders and dedicated team players who drive Wingtra forward. Responsibilities

Together with us, you are responsible for bringing the working prototypes to an industrial-grade product. In this exciting phase, you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing the development from first series production to industrialized manufacturing based on customer feedback
  • Responsibility for component evaluation and quality control
  • Setting up and managing of supply chain, assembly facility, testing, packaging, and fulfillment
  • Coordinating team of talented engineers

Joining the Wingtra team, you will have a personal impact on the new technology developed as well as the organization itself.

Requirements

  • +3 years of experience as VP, Director, lead engineer or specialized consultant
  • Fluent in CAD, preferably with focus on industrialization and manufacturing
  • Track record as product designer successfully industrializing production of a product
  • Experience in one of the following areas: supply chain setup, scaling of manufacturing, packaging and order fulfillment
  • Background in engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Honest, humble, and self-motivated

Plus

  • Experience in bringing a novel product to market within 1 year, developing and setting up cost efficient manufacturing processes
  • Experience in composites, plastic parts, software, electronics, aerodynamics
  • Prior experience in a team growing fast from 20 to 50 or more engineers
  • Experience in sourcing and building up supply chains for small series production in Europe or Asia involving electronics and composites
  • +6 years of experience
