Key Account Manager Maghreb - Your future position?

As a Key Account Manager with Givaudan - the global leader in the fragrance and flavour industry - you will be part of the Maghreb sales team in Zurich, reporting directly to the Sales Head of Maghreb. You will be responsible for initiating and executing a business plan to develop and penetrate target customers and key accounts in order to achieve the sales objectives in coordination with our sales organization in the Region.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops sales strategies and sales budgets for territory and assigned accounts
  • Maximizes market shares and gross margin
  • Focuses resources on exceeding customer needs and delivering value
  • Develops multifunction relationships
  • Monitors flavour trends, competition activity, product development, and market penetration
  • Obtains and reports marketing data for successful achievement of business objectives and strategies
  • Regularly reviews and provides status reports on progress against sales budget
  • Recommends course of action to prevent loss of existing business
  • Plans, schedules and makes sales calls to assigned accounts and territory prospects
  • Coordinates sales team to ensure effective sales service, customer relations, and administrative needs
  • Investigates customer complaints and assures prompt, effective solutions
  • Responds to customer inquiries for samples, technical data, and support.
  • Responds to customer inquiries on the use and application of flavour ingredients

  • Master Degree in business, engineering or a technical food industry field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in the flavours or food ingredients industries (B2B)
  • Fluent in French and English (verbal and written)
  • Customer focused and driving for results
  • Creative and able to set priorities
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organization skills
