Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Establish the new office: identifying and comparing premises, coordinating visits and decision, planning and coordinating necessary arrangements incl. renovating and setting up furniture and ICT hardware with our IT department;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the office: managing mails and other external services, accommodating employees and visitors, welcoming clients, operating telephone switchboard and booking meeting rooms;
  • Provide general administrative support to the team incl. scheduling meetings and owning team members’ calendars;
  • Provide secretariat services incl. receive and share mail, organize and pay bills, produce documents, maintain records and organize archiving and filing systems;
  • Overlook and executive purchasing activities of necessary goods and services;
  • Support accounting process;
  • On occasional basis, book hotel rooms and venues and arrange transfers incl. parking and route maps where necessary;
  • Take active part in ad hoc projects or initiatives for the group.

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Diploma, ideally Bachelor, in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • At least five years of experience in an administrative position including at least three in an office management one;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Fluent English and Arabic; Portuguese, French or German a plus;
  • Hands-on and flexible personality with a problem solving aptitude;
  • Very good communication and inter-personal skills, well-mannered, at his/her own ease also with high level stakeholders (clients, visitors, managers),
  • Experienced within an international environment, open and friendly character;
  • Autonomous and highly organized, able to cope with demanding workload.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Implementing new projects and maintaining existing infrastructure throughout the entire technology stack;

The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the entire Information Technology and Operations infrastructure required to support all of our clients’ businesses. Reporting to the Group COO, he/she will develop and maintain the Information Technology and Operation Security strategy. The main priority is to ensure that the security strategy is aligned with our clients’ business objectives, policies, standards and best practice and perform regular controls.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Research, review and evaluate new and existing Information Technology and Operation Security technology (working closely with IT team) and where appropriate make recommendation in order to incorporate those technologies into our clients’ security environment.
  • Propose the introduction of Security Strategy & Security standards that need to be contained within our client Policy framework, including Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management, Data Privacy, Cyber Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Recovery, Information Governance, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with at least five years of relevant experience in the corporate security field.
  • A background as Information Security expert with University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in delivering (e.g. evaluating, supporting the designing, implementing, monitoring, and governing) the following types of engagements:
    • IT security programs and strategies
    • Penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
    • IT security governance and quality assurance

Compliance Officer

The successful candidate will be based at our headquarters in the heart of Zug and report directly to our Group Head of Compliance:

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide primarily Investment Management (IM) but also Private Equity (PE) compliance guidance to the business;
  • Establish, enhance and enforce compliance policies and testing procedures, liaising with business partners and legal consultants to identify and mitigate compliance risks;
  • Monitor national and international compliance initiatives as well as regulatory developments, and conduct analyses as to how such developments impact the business;
  • Provide compliance input to due diligence questionnaires, KYC enquiries, AML checks, RFPs, etc.;
  • Assist in preparing for and responding to inquiries and audits from regulatory authorities;

Your qualifications

  • University degree from a leading institution in a relevant discipline (e.g. economics, law);
  • Proven track record in IM (and ideally PE) compliance across a broad range of asset classes and geographies and deep knowledge of the investment process;
  • Work experience in or with Africa or other emerging markets is a strong advantage;
