We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an experienced and qualified:

Global HR Lead (M/F)


Working in close collaboration with the senior management, the HR Lead will be

establishing and managing the HR function for the company's European Headquarters

based in Basel/Switzerland. He/she will also implement and lead the HR function

across Europe.

Role & responsibilities

In close collaboration with the global HQ and the senior leadership team:

 Establishes the HR structure for Switzerland: develops and implements key HR

activities and resources such as recruitment plan, job profiles, employment

contracts, payroll services, compensation, benefits, etc. - ensuring that the

company is in compliance with Swiss labor law.

 Builds European country teams and implements local HR contracts, benefits,

payroll and policies.

 Manages HR operations by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, coaching,

counseling, and managing employee performance.

 Partners with finance and senior leaders on workforce planning, forecasting in

anticipation of future requirements.

 Leads HR project implementation throughout Europe.

 Supports senior management by providing HR advice, guidance, and


 Develops, writes, and updates policies, procedures, and guidelines;

communicates and enforces organizational values.


 A solid academic background in business, science or any other relevant field of

study is required. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, PhD).

 10+ years of relevant HR experience including at least 5 years operating in a

fast-paced, international environment – ideally in healthcare.

 Successful track record of opening affiliates across Europe.

 Demonstrated knowledge of Swiss labor law, staffing, training, salary

administration and general business principles.

 Self-starter, dynamic, positive, with strong leadership.

 Strong people skills and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership in the


 Customer-focused, business partner approach, drive for results and cultural


 Ability to work at all levels - operational, tactical and strategic.

 Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.

 Ability to make good sound judgment decisions even in the most difficult


 Full fluency in English and French (oral and written); any other European

language a plus.
