Major tasks are the development of business and product strategies from the concept of to the final product portfolio including ensuring a proper product life cycle management with the task to consolidate the product needs of different industry segments, while optimising the product mix for best asset utilisation and profitability, development of product positioning, cost and price calculations and product margin management. Applying your experience with innovation processes you will drive innovative solutions and develop product-market strategies in very close cooperation with clients, R&D, sales & marketing, procurement and product development. Beside this you have to set a sustained collaboration with international stakeholders by a convincing argumentation and common goals for future markets. Further tasks are the management of transfer price lists for new and existing products as well as the identification of needs for transfer price changes based on changing market conditions. In addition you set made-or-by-decisions and will be in charge of major strategic projects for future investments, internal development-projects, product replacements, product portfolio definition and product alteration.
For this challenging role we are looking for a versatile manager with several years experience in product management and in conceptualisation of projects as well as strong product and market application, starting from the idea to the final product promotion, identifying the performance requirements and technical capabilities within a strong international B2B environment. Furthermore you demonstrate a good understanding in multi-layer polymer products (e.g. foils, tyres, floors or mats), process engineering or product development. Your proven track record in project management and target cost accounting you can implement goal- and solution-oriented. You think strategically, act independently and combine innovation with service-mentality to both clients and the global sales organisation. In addition to your analytical and organisational abilities, you are known to be a convincing communicator and motivator. We expect a university degree in an engineering discipline, ideally added by a degree in business administration. You are able to communicate fluently in English, any other language would be an advantage.
