Implant - Freight Forwarding

Our client is a reputable international Logistics Service provider. We are looking for a qualified freight forwarder to take care exclusively of one of their clients at their premises located near Kloten.

Implant – Freight Forwarding

Main Responsibilities and Key Activities:
• Manage and coordinate all movement of the client’s cargo on an LSP(Lead Service Provider) agreement basis, implement the contractual agreements
• Advise the client on operational improvements and tactical opportunities
• Optimize Customer and Lead Operations via standardized methodology which will lead to cost savings and efficiencies
• Analyse logistics data, flows and cost to identify new improvements and cost reduction projects
• Resolve any problems that may arise – e.g. complaints, claims, enquiries – and manage exceptions and disruptions
• Leverage best practices with the goal to improve processes which will lead to cost savings and efficiencies
• Handle and coordinate material and transport requests for customer projects
• Ensure consistent delivery across regions
• Maintain effective relationship with all stakeholders
• Ensure alignment, synergies and collaboration with internal Key Centers, e.g. Business Units, country operations and customers
• Timely delivery of reports, onboarding of suppliers, lanes, and other agreed actions


• Freight Forwarding Merchant + min. 3 years working experience
• Working experience in an international freight forwarding company
• Proven track record in operations and/or providing continuous improvement
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to independently solve problems and troubleshoot
• Project and LSP( LLP) experience advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office, specially Excel.

Languages: Excellent English, good level of German – written and spoken
