    The company

    Our client is leading international producer of aluminum semi-products with its HQ located in Zürich. This is an exciting and innovative firm that promotes within and offers their employees excellent career progression.

    Your tasks

    You work closely with local management to make appropriate assessments of employee’s performance & potential and in order to that you develop appropriate action plans.

    • You ensure support for the following functions: headcount planning, recruitment activities
    • Leading the HR time on –site.
    • Responsibility for leadership development initiatives, correct application of employment laws, policy formulation & administration, HR info-management
    • HR lead for local responsibility for the operational HQ in ZH
    • In cooperation with HR group & local senior managers you identify individual skills and organizational development needs
    • You assist the implementation of organizational realignments, outsourcing and growth
    • Take lead on the payroll process and payout
    • Develop employee communication plans regarding HR programs
    • Coach and train Senior Manager and top executives in different key topics such as performance feedback and engagement with their employees


    Ideally, you have 5 years or more of experience in a similar position and you are educated in economy with further education in HR.

    • Operated in a complex and changing environment
    • Extensive experience in Swiss Payroll
    • In depth knowledge of the Swiss labour law
    • Previous exposure of dealing with Senior Manager and Executive Board members
    • Fluent in English and German, other European languages are an asset
    • Effective and efficient working behavior
    • Demonstrated understanding of cross-cultural issues and managing diversity issues
    • Gained experience in a multi-national company
