Primary Duties:

The Public Private Partnership Program Manager will work closely with the Public Private Partnership / Business Model Innovation teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables required to ensure robust and balanced cross-functional planning, decision-making, implementation and monitoring of the projects. Once a Public Private Partnership / Business Model Innovation project has been confirmed, and the teams have been identified, the candidate will provide project management support, including Integrated Project Plans and ensure coordination between and amongst the Business Development and Public Private Partnership / Business Model Innovation teams to achieve project deliverables on-time and within budget.


• Coordinate all aspects of project implementation with stakeholder groups based upon project schedule and meet project requirements.

• Develop and implement project plans and timelines.

• Schedule and conduct project meetings including: setting agenda, lead and facilitate meeting, document meeting outcomes via meeting minutes, and track action items to completion.

• Responsible for tracking and controlling project plans and budget.

• Identifies project risk and develops associated communication and mitigation plans.

• Participates in internal and external meetings relating to projects; provides summaries of meeting to appropriate person(s) and makes recommendations as appropriate.

• Provide direction on prioritization of project activities.

• Work with and lead cross-functional project team to ensure seamless execution of Public Private Partnership / Business Model Innovation projects

• Communicates project status to appropriate stakeholders and escalate issues as appropriate.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to work without routine supervision to deliver key accountabilities

• Strong experience in the branded prescription drug pharmaceutical industry

• Proven direct experience in program/project management associated with cross-functional business teams

• Direct experience in an Alliance Management role working directly with alliance partners and / or working as part of an alliance team is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work without routine supervision to deliver key accountabilities

• Strong knowledge and understanding of global product development and commercialization

in the pharmaceutical industry

• Significant experience in managing cross-functional, global teams; experience facilitating

multi-disciplinary commercial teams strongly preferred.

• BS in scientific discipline, or MBA with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

• Understanding in planning processes and decision making

• Experience with project planning methodology, tools and software.
