Team Leader IT Service Desk

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the IT service team by planning the daily activities, optimising the resources and process workflows
  • Ensure a standard performance of the team
  • Provide an excellent central support to all end-users
  • Actively manage client relationships by communicating regularly and providing status updates on all outstanding issues managed by the service desk team
  • Autonomously processing of transactions and orders, investigate, analyse and provide prompt answers to the clients requests, guaranteeing a high 1st level resolution rate
  • Efficiently liaise with business and technical 2nd level support areas, providing them with the necessary information in order to achieve a swift resolution of the issues for the 1st level support
  • Prepare and train the team for future challenges
  • Develop and integrate new support processes
Knowledge, Skills and Education:
  • Bachelor of Information Technology or a similar educational background
  • Several years of working experience in IT support, service desk or service management
  • Solid knowledge of the banking business and its processes and rules
  • Successful track record in a team management role
  • Practical experience in developing, optimising and implementing service desk processes
  • Analytical thinking and excellent problem solving capacities
  • Team spirited and good communication skills
  • Well-developed client orientation and ability to communicate on all corporate levels
  • Fluent German and English
