In order to realise our growth potential we have a strong leadership position as Category Director for Europe sitting in our marketing function, to manage a combination of  Global Power Brands and iconic local heritage brands.


The Category Director will provide leadership for a multi million business, with full P&L accountability for critical markets in Europe. Working with talented and passionate teams in these markets, you have a unique opportunity to create a long-lasting impact! As Category Director, you are a key member of the Mondelez European Leadership Team and direct report to a President in Europe, building the strategic plan for your markets, developing and approving business plans for execution at local level in order to drive business results. You will lead, inspire and develop a team of committed individuals and create strong collaborative relationships with the Area President, Managing Directors and the wider business teams.



To succeed in this role ideally you will bring:

  • Significant experience (10-15 years) gained in marketing management/commercial roles with a significant time spent in a marketing leadership role.
  • This will have been gained across multiple markets and geographies.
  • It is critical that you demonstrate a drive for results through the development of strategic teams, with an ability to develop strong cross functional linkages within the business.
  • We are looking for the perfect combination of equity management, P&L management and  strategic agility which will help you to navigate a complex organisation with challenging business dynamics.
