Job description and responsibilities

Our Global Operations organisation is embarking a major change and transition programme to further develop and deliver forward-thinking operational and administrative transaction processing, controlling and reporting for cash payments and securities. In order to contribute to the design and delivery of people and organisational development strategies and the management of change, we are seeking an Organisational Development Manager with excellent interpersonal, communication and change management skills. The successful candidate is working with the entire Global Operations team and the key stakeholders across the business to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement.


Key tasks of this diverse and challenging role include:


  • Contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of the Global Operations strategy to ensure the change initiatives are integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals
  • Identify opportunities for people and team development, and performance improvement through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process or system reviews
  • Understand barriers and possible solutions; conduct analysis and research into good practice and ideas
  • Manage internal or external resources as and when required in order to ensure cost-effective delivery of agreed initiatives
  • Design and facilitate in-house events and interventions as required
  • Work with the Internal Communications Manager to ensure effective communication and consultation processes and to build staff engagement across the organisation
  • Work with line managers on the analysis, design and delivery of appropriate and relevant personal development plans for their staff, to plan and evaluate needed interventions and to ensure best use of resources and budgets


Education, qualification & experience:


  • Organisational development and change management qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through experience working as an organisational-, people development specialist with change management focus
  • Qualification in coaching, consulting and/or supervision desirable
  • Experience in designing and delivering organisational development and change management plans, processes and interventions to become a high performing organisation built on the notion of putting people at the center of the work process
  • Track record in delivering successful people-, process- and organisational development projects and supporting change
  • Experience in planning and delivering initiatives, which foster a high performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm
  • Strong qualifications in communicating, influencing, building and sustaining relationships in order to achieve results
  • Experience of, and commitment to, continuous organisational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent

  • Excellent people management and coaching skills with a strong focus on team development
    Passionate about working with different people from different cultures at all levels of hierarchy
    Ability to listen closely, engage, conduct diagnosis, analyse findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions
  • Sense of comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness from an organisation’s and individual’s perspective
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills in English and German, including presentation skills due to extensive interaction with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexible, pragmatic, hands-on self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Quick comprehension to acquire good understanding of existing processes and technologies
  • Excellent event, intervention design and facilitation skills
  • Extensive MS Office knowledge and effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines
  • Solution-oriented and results-focused with ability to differentiate between big picture and detail
