In order to reinforce the Installation team in Basel we are currently recruiting for a
Supervisor Electro Installations for Completions Center

The Supervisor  Electro Installation,reports to the Aircraft Manager Completions Installation, andis responsible for co-ordination of allCompletions Installationactivities within the designated area of responsibility.

  • Accountable to ensure the accomplishment of assigned  Completion Installation operations, in accordance with the specified requirements  and within the agreed timeframe, budget and quality

  • Ensure Project/s are  completed to all internal and external (FOCA, EASA, FAA) requirements

  • Responsible for the coordination of Completion Installation Technicians to support goals of team and project

  • Responsible to support the development of project installation scheduling, in conjunction with Aircraft Manager Completions Installation, the assigned Aircraft Coordinator, and other relevant JBSL BU functions

  • Responsible and accountable to support the efficient execution of Project Milestones

  • Responsible and Accountable to utilize, and ensure Completion Installation teams utilize the defined Engineering control and reporting tools (i.e. Elementool, Smarteam, etc.)

  • Support the Engineering D.M.U reviews, as requested by Completions Installation management team

  • Responsible and Accountable to utilize and ensure the Completion Installation team utilizes defined Project control and information tools (i.e. Visibility Matrix, MRP Control tool, Task Card Tracker, and Task Call out Board etc.)

  • Support the development of future leadership, within team by utilizing cross training and delegation

  • When workload requires, and as requested, perform additional functions of Aircraft Coordinator

  • Responsible for vacation planning, and sickness notification and control, of assigned team members, including performance of return to work interviews, using defined control and reporting tools, and support administration of the department

  • Responsible to perform tool control, and ensuring F.O.D. requirements are met

  • Administrate recognition and discipline, utilize the escalation process as required

  • Supports an environment of teamwork within the Project team and with other Business Units in the organization

  • Responsible for assigned employee performance assessments as per process requirements

  • Support Jet Aviation internal and external regulatory audits, including E.A.S.A. F.O.C.A. ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

  • Implement corrective and preventive actions from audits in a timely manner as assigned

  • Lead and support the use of Lean principles on projects and within the Completions Installation BU

  • Support a “best practice” and “lessons learnt” culture across the Jet Aviation business

  • Develop and support continuous improvement actions/ projects

  • When workload requires, and as requested, assist in other tasks that are delegated by the Completions Installation management team

  • 5 years proven experience within the Aviation business

  • Aviation or similar apprenticeship

  • Understanding of finance, budgets

  • Successful leadership of teams within performance targets

  • Knowledge and understanding of Jet Aviation internal procedures and policies (preferred)

  • “S” or “ P”, F.O.C.A. license as determined by operational requirements

  • Strong knowledge of O.E.M. documentation and systems (i.e. A.M.M, S.R.M. MyBoeingFleet, Airbusworld, etc.)

  • Leadership and clear communication

  • Organization and prioritization competence

  • Planning, Communication, Influencing and Conflict Management Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven team player

  • Ability to build and motivate a team, coaching and mentoring

  • Fluent in English and knowledge of French and German
