Your tasks as FELFEL Communication & Brand Engagement Specialist:

In line with the FELFEL brand you will be the lead in defining customer relationship marketing strategies and initiatives to retain, engage and build loyalty across customer segments. In addition, you will nurture fruitful relationships with the press, securing coverage on events and ensuring interest in the FELFEL brand. We prefer candidates who have 'creative writing skills' and who LOVE the story telling aspect of communication.


Job Tasks:

  • Define communication strategy and be responsible for communication plan
  • Execute communication strategy across different media platforms (Web, Newsletters, Social Media, Offline, CRM at FELFEL fridges etc.)
  • Together with our internal analytic team develop segmentation models, based on common characteristics including customer type, purchase history, behavior and demographics and implement relevant, vetted e-mail marketing campaigns and customized offers to improve engagement and reduce waste
  • Develop and implement customer journeys across multiple touch points (Newsletter, Email, On-site, Social Media)
  • Develop and deliver creative briefs, goals and direction for email campaigns in collaboration with our team photographer and graphic designer
  • Manage CRM budget
  • Provide content & train employees for our growing international team (e.g. additional FELFEL offices in new markets)
  • PR & Bloggers: build relationships with the press & secure coverage

Who you are:


  • Candidate should have a deep knowledge of the current and emerging media landscape
  • Creative writing skills (e.g. a nose for stories and a little flair for the theatrical)
  • At FELFEL data is a core value when taking decision. Analytical skills and understanding of core products are a must.
  • Willingness to learn our brand and our values, so no marketing opportunity escapes your keen eye and passion for publicity.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in both GERMAN and ENGLISH
  • Flexibility: we are a small team, responsibilities might change over time and you need to be willing to also help out in other teams every now and then
  • Attitude: ‘The Answer is Yes’
  • Love for food
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree
  • Minimum two years experience in communication field
