The Service Management Leader will be working closely with Parts IT Ops team members in their daily support activities for the Parts business applications.Essential ResponsibilitiesThe Role requires participation in key Parts IT Ops initiatives to achieve Operations excellence. The support specialist is also required to build strong partnership with Parts IT team members, PGS PEIT Ops team members, BPS, GIS, ETS, Shared Services and other key IT and functional teams.

  • Involvement in day to day IT support activities of Parts IT Ops team
  • Participate in preparation & distribution key PEIT application support metrics, project reviews, execution of IT Ops projects and activities.
  • Support Parts IT Ops team in the areas of system improvements, application support consolidation, bullet trains for cost out’s, etc.
  • Involvement in Parts IT Ops team’s internal and external communications,
  • Manage assigned instance management responsibilities for Parts ERP applications
  • Involvement in supplier relationships to ensure on-going delivery & operational support of high quality, cost effective solutions
  • Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Strong experience in the field of Information Technology
  • Familiar with major business applications & support methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
