What's the role?

We are looking for an intern starting as soon as possible upon agreement for 6 month. You'll support the battery research team in learning more about the latest generation of high-power lithium ion batteries.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department you’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team working on latest lithium ion technology. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop characterization methods for lithium ion cells and batteries, as well as supporting in proving the feasibility of new battery concepts.

Your key responsibilities will be electrical measurements to characterize cells and packs, analyze the experimental data (using Excel and Matlab/Octave) and support the expert team in Matlab/Simulink programming.

We have 400 of the world's best engineers developing and testing tomorrow's technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein.

What you need is:
  • Master and/or bachelor in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in lab work and electrical testing, preferably with batteries
  • Experience in data analysis and programming (Matlab and/or others)
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and ideally another language
  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
