What's the role?

In the field of diamond coring we are searching for new cutting material opportunities by an indepth analytical approach. Evaluating material properties and translating the findings into geometrical designing for improving application performance of coring, sawing and drilling tools will be the main fields of action for our candidate.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department you'll be part of a team with sound knowledge of all different types of materials. You'll work closely with our experts to develop new cutting materials for our diamond business.

Your key responsibilities will be to evaluate suitable cutting materials in our exclusive labs and conduct an analytical characterization and performance testing with prototypes in our large testing hall.

What you need is:
  • Strong interest in materials science or mechanical/chemical engineering
  • MS office skills, CAD desirable
  • We want your thirst to learn, courage to challenge and desire to improve things, including yourself
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and ideally another language
  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
