Rhone is a Swiss company established in 1982 with offices in Geneva, The Bahamas and

Singapore. It advises clients on estate planning and the administration of legal entities.

To bolster its Geneva-based Management, Rhone is seeking a



Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide active support to the Company in all

finance related activities, deputizing the CFO during her absence.


 Key interface person with the external auditors

 Responsible for the accounting of Rhone entities, as well as ensuring adherence to the

company’s financial policies, procedures and internal controls

 Perform monthly reconciliation of sub-ledgers and cost and revenue accruals;

investigate and correct variances

 Prepare interim and annual financial statements for individual entities and consolidated


 Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and their applicability to the

Rhone group entities

 Provide documentation and support to internal and external audits

 Process tax returns and VAT, as well as other regulatory reporting tasks

 Involvement in various operational and financial projects


 Chartered Accountant Certification (Swiss Expert-Comptable, US CPA or equivalent),

or in the process of obtaining such accreditation

 Excellent knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS

 Approximately five years proven experience working in accounting or finance

 Excellent command of English and French, both spoken and written

 Accurate, with a keen eye for detail

 Proficient user of the standard office IT tools (MS Office and Excel in particular)

 Swiss, B or C permit, and resident in Switzerland for at least the last three years

constantly changing international environment. You will be able to work independently, as

well as effectively participate in the team. You have the ability to form well-structured

arguments and be persuasive vis-à-vis your various interlocutors. Finally, you will go about

your duties showing the degree of ethics and integrity required in this field.
