In order to reinforce the Human Resources team in Basel we are currently recruiting for an

HR Coordinator for Completions Business

The HR Coordinator, Completions, is accountable for the HR administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties, related to the employee life cycle processes, such as entry and onboarding of new employees, HR services, employees' ending of employment relationships.

The HR Coordinator, Completions, is responsible for the complete HR administration process of the HR Team of Completions. According to the business activity, the person will also coordinate the recruitment activities of the Completions Business and provide support to the HR Business Partners. 

The HR Coordinator leads with the implementation of services, policies, and programs through HR staff; reports to the HR manager, and assists with HR issues within their scope of responsibilities.

The HR coordinator also takes the role of interface with the employees to support and assist them in their daily questions and issues relative to HR operational matters.

The HR Coordinator contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a knowledgeable and competent workforce.


The HR Coordinator has partial or full responsibility for the following areas:


  • posts openings in the defined recruitment channels, as per company and HR Business Partner guidelines
  • reviews applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • first and main interface of the candidate throughout the recruitment process
  • logistic organization of interviews
  • conducts phone interviews and reports feedback to HR BPs
  • leads complete recruitment process for apprenticeship and internship roles
  • maintains the recruitment interface software

HR Services

  • responsible for the HR administration for the HR CMPL team, relating to entry of new employees, ending of employment relationships, internal transfers (working contracts, follow-up of the entries and ending of employment contracts, letters of dismissal, transfer, reference letters, etc.), with the support of the HR Assistant
  • maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
  • employees' allowances and insurance administration (family allowances, accident, etc.)
  • assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office (Jet Aviation and EAP badges, etc.)
  • assists and supports employees in general HR operative questions
  • provides assistance for the supervision of employment policies and rules


  • supports the HR Business Partners, according to their requests and guidelines
  • employee safety, welfare, wellness, health reporting and initiatives
  • administration and improvement of tracking systems e.g. Performance Management, reference letters, etc
  • continuous optimization and efficiency of the HR administrative processes
  • adheres to all EHS policy and procedures
  • reports EHS hazards, incidents and injuries. Is familiar with emergency instructions
  • Complies with the EHS rules (work instructions, personal protective equipment...)


  • Specific degree in HR administration (Personal Assistant/in) or commercial degree with sustainable experience in HR
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position (if possible in an international company)
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Fluent in English and German (French beneficial)
  • Preferable SAP R3 knowledge
