Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. is looking for a


  • Design and specification of architectures / layouts for control systems, and interfaces to ancillary systems
  • Design of electrical systems, such as electric motor starters and control units for pumps, blowers, etc.
  • Design and maintenance of automation test rigs and simulators
  • Evaluation (test, validation, documentation) of electrical and electronic components such as actuators, sensors and power supply equipment
  • Technical coordination with external engineering and manufacturing partners
  • Design review of engine automation concepts
  • Technical support in service related matters


  • Bachelor / Master (FH, HTL) degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or similar
  • Experience in designing low voltage industrial / marine electrical installations 
  • Experience with MS-Office and electrical CAD tools
  • Good command of English (must) and German (desired)
  • Basic project management skills
  • Team player, yet able to work independently
  • Enjoying working in multicultural environment
