Application Manager (100%)
In your function as Application Manager for Group Applications of the Zurich-based Avaloq Evolution AG you report to the Head of Group Processes & Applications. Your place of work will be in Zurich-Manegg in Switzerland. The Application Manager role is responsible for system support (2nd and 3rd level), lifecycle management and offshoring management.
Responsible for estimating support requirements for project initiatives within assigned area
Provide expertise, both functional and technical, to incidents, service requests, projects and business process inquiries
Be part in Day-to-Day activities of Application Management Service (AMS) team to balance and prioritize activities with service requests and projects
Ensure standardized methods and procedures are followed across all AMS areas to handle incidents, service requests, problems, changes, etc.
Act as a technical advisor for business process owners of application management and supporting technologies
Work collaboratively across all departments/entities Work with Business Owners and Project Managers to schedule and prioritize efforts
University degree in computer science or equivalent education
Strong understanding of corporate business functions in areas of Finance/Controlling, Human Resources, Purchasing and Business Intelligence
Experience in collaboration with onsite and remote developers
Knowledge in Application Management of SAP
Driven by a ‘can do’ mentality with strong motivational skills to encourage the contribution and involvement from others
Demonstrated experience in team leading
Cultural awareness, overseas/international working experience is a plus
Excellent German and English skills in both writing and speaking
Periodic travel required throughout the regions in which the company operate
