The company is developing a pre-clinical and clinical portfolio of own drug candidates in important disease areas (e.g. novel antibiotics and therapies for rare lung diseases).
To strengthen our antibiotic research team we are currently looking for a:
Primary/secondary screening of new antibacterial molecules;
In-depth profiling of antibiotics with different methodologies (time kill studies, resistance development, post-antibiotic effect, checkerboard assays, etc.);
Contribute to mode of action studies by genetic methods and molecular biology;
Analysis and written reports of your results in English for review by your immediate supervisor.
You are a scientist with in depth hands-on experience in microbiology with a degree of laboratory technician or industrial engineer biochemistry/biotechnology or M.Sc. equivalent. Experience in pharmaceutical industry in microbiology and research on antibiotics is an asset.
You are a hard working team player, independent and self-motivated, and you can manage multiple tasks in parallel. You have a sense for quality, accuracy and technical details and you approach tasks with a scientific mind set.
