Regional HR Manager

On behalf of our client a growing international company active in the luxury industry we are recruiting a Regional HR Manager This is an opportunity to participate in the successful implementation of a new People Strategy for a growing international luxury group managing key HR activities for its senior management population. For this position the main responsibilities are Interact closely as HR Business Partner with the President Operations Europe working with him and his regional management team to achieve business objectives in a growing region within the group developing a deep understanding for the business. Drive the implementation in the region of the strategic Human Ressource Agenda suited to foster talent acquisition development high performance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness Support the achievement of business objectives by personally overseeing the Human Ressource workstream in hotel pre-opening projects for new hotels and establishing the required HR frameworks and resource plans -Work within the corporate HR team to develop global HR tools and processes and implement global HR initiatives regionally the project agenda will include among others follow up on an Employee engagement survey talent identification and development processes the implementation of a global HRIS new talent and performance management processes Help to build a strong regional senior management team and develop talent and leadership pipelines through implementation of robust talent identification development processes and internal mobility processes Support the delivery of the employer branding strategy within the region and co-ordinate regional employer marketing activities e.g. at schools career events and promote regional staff exchange Support with the recruitment of regional roles and local senior management roles where required Provide regional expertise to global projects and advise facilitate coordinate and ensure compliance in key HR service requirements Talent acquisition talent management Compensation benefits and recognition schemes Policy labour law employee relations Employee engagement and employee welfare Monitor the effectiveness of local HR delivery conducting periodical HR audits and identifying opportunities for improvement and developing strategic and operational solutions in line with current best practice. Deliver on reporting requirements to monitor achievement of the strategic agenda Be a team player and collaborate closely with colleagues in the corporate and regional as well as global HR team
For this position the ideal candidate should have A relevant university degree e.g. in law business administration economics HR management At least 5 years' experience in operational and corporate or regional HR management roles in a multinational company interacting with business units in multiple geographies including exposure to Central Eastern and ideally Southern Europe Strong knowledge in the luxury hospitality segment and ideally experience in hotel pre-openings Be proeficient oral and written in English. If not a native speaker the candidate would have worked mainly in English throughout their career. Speak ideally at least an other language French or others languages especially German Arabic Chinese Russian . The candidate should also have as general competencies Analytical decision-making and strong problemsolving skills as well as an eye for detail Results focused hands-on approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a customer focussed mindset Ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders A team player with a naturally ethical approach
