Job Description

lm is looking for the Director of Administration for its Finance department based in Chiasso.
He/she will coordinate Accounting, Consolidation, Tax and Internal Audit Teams (approximately 40 people in 5 different offices - Chiasso, Madrid, Munich, Paris, London).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of the Consolidated and Statutory Financial Statements for the Group and its legal entities

  • Manage the relation with external auditors

  • Ensure the necessary support for managing the accounting implications of new initiatives/processes/products

  • Provide monthly reporting package closing at consolidated, economic and financial level

  • Coordinate local tax and statutory consultants

  • Develop and implement the group tax strategy ensuring the delivery of the tax filings for all the entities of the group

  • Support Internal Audit in the performance of the related activities

 

 Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational group operating in different markets with multiple legal entities

  • Fluency in written and oral English

 

Desirable

  • French or German knowledge

 

Abilities/qualities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise guidance and instructions to subsidiaries, other Group functions and Departments

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels and contributing to a team

  • Cross- cultural sensitivity, self-motivated and used to working in a dynamic and fast paced environment

  • Flexibility of working practices, priorities and availability during peaks of the season to meet business demands

  • Ability to build strong relationships required for liaising with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven technical skills on accounting, consolidation and tax matters
