We are looking for a Senior Product Designer at Nespresso that will directly work with the Head of Product Design and will be responsible for product design projects (short to mid-term, fully implementable projects within the Nespresso Machine Roadmap). The position requires an expert in product design thinking who can organise and lead output across multiple projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (Development, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory etc.)
Bring products from concept to production: Coordinate on-quality, on-time, on-budget design development activities across project plan and in line with product design guidelines
Create 2D/ 3D concepts for prototyping, mockups, user journeys or for communicating design intent to various teams
Able to deliver design projects independently (but in collaboration with internal and external design resources), ensuring the quality and consistency of the Nespresso design cues and codes
Take design ownership when necessary, make design decisions and clearly communicate those decisions to senior leadership
Able to deliver pragmatic (short term) and strategic projects (mid to long term).
Bachelor or master degree in Industrial Design
Minimum 7 years working experience in Product Design
Experience in managing product design for manufacturing is a must
Strong knowledge of industry standard design programs in 2D and 3D (3D modelling Programs, Render programs, Adobe Creative Suite), Rapid prototyping, idea sketching skills
Track record of creating outstanding product design introduced in the market
Good knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface( UI)
Able to collaborate with different stakeholders as part of team
Able to manage multiple projects, organized, efficient
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
