HR Perspectives 2019 - global accelerated talent development program
Are you a talented HR professional with the goal to become a future leader in HR? Do you have an excellent academic education? Would you like to gain global experience by working in different areas of HR? Then, “HR Perspectives” is for you!
HR Perspectives is Roche’s global rotation program designed for individuals at an early stage of their career in Human Resources and who would like to make significant contributions to what patients need next. We are looking for highly energetic and globally mobile future HR leaders from around the world.
Recognizing the central importance of experiential learning and development, HR Perspectives provides HR professionals a unique opportunity to build a broad global network, experience different areas of HR, and gain skills that will be necessary for a career in HR – and all this in an accelerated time frame.
A 2-year duration in total
Rotation into different positions within HR (i.e. HR Business Partnering, Talent Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Innovation, HR Operations & Services) in different countries
3-4 assignments globally, tailored to your areas of interest & development needs
Exposure to different HR functions, teams and other key business stakeholders
Mentorship by a senior HR leader throughout the program and beyond
Are you interested in learning more about our current participants and program graduates?
As an ideal candidate you have a Master degree or MBA and demonstrate interest and passion for HR. You have strong leadership potential and the ambition to take over a leadership position within HR in the near future. You display passion for people and the ability to share our company’s values of integrity, courage and passion. Ideally you have experience in a developing region (i.e. Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East, Africa or Eastern Europe).
A suitable candidate is fulfilling ALL of these requirements above and the below:
early stage in career: 0-5 years of relevant work experience
at least 6 months internship or work experience in a foreign country (ideally in a developing region). Internships in HR are strongly favourable
global mindset and a high degree of mobility both during AND after the program
strong leadership ambition and team player attitude, proven ability to integrate well into different cultures and business settings
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
proficiency in English and a second language is required as well as willingness to learn another language
The start of the program will be end Q3 2019 and will be determined on an individual basis.

Application closing date is March 31
Pre-selection phase and invitations for 1st round interviews from end of February until closing early April
Successful candidates will have a 2nd round video interview with HR Perspectives Program Managers between early March until mid April
Successful candidates will be invited to the final Assessment Center which takes place June 19-20, 2019 in Basel, Switzerland
