We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager, with at least 10 years experience selling corporate software (ideally CPM/EPM software) in Switzerland with a successful track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Our client is a global provider of leading software solutions (performance management) and information services.
Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers
Analyzing opportunities by researching the industry and market trends
Define the sales strategy for each deal, manage the execution coordinating the extended sales team (inside sales, consulting, …)
Maintaining relationships with larger clients by providing information, support and guidance
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Constantly update the CRM as system of records
Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
The right candidate will have significant experience selling corporate software (ideally CPM/EPM) in Switzerland
Proven ability to value sell and lead complex and/or extended sales cycles in a highly competitive environment
Domain knowledge in banking, insurance, manufacturing, or CPG is a plus.
Fluent French & English and ideally good German knowledge
At least 10 years of experience selling corporate software
Previous experience in implementation or pre-sales is a plus
Proven track record of achieving quota
Strong finance know-how, ideally also in the banking sector
Consultative selling skills
Ability to navigate complex selling environments
Bachelors or Master Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
