Our customer is a global Production and Trading Company
with its corporate and commercial Headquarters in the
German part of Switzerland.

To join the Commercial team, we are looking for a
motivated and dynamic personality as

Inventory Planner

The Inventory Planner acts as a central point for
information between Operations and the Commercial teams,
to be able to insure consistent supply at the right time,
right quality and right volume in Europe and other
geographical areas.

Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain, the Inventory
Planner will coordinate the preparation and presentation
of inventory visibility and analysis reporting about the
products out of processing operations and will work with
the team in optimizing inventory levels across the Supply
Chain of the group.

The inventory planner will highlight potential stock-outs
and overstocks to all the relevant parties involved in a
timely matter, conduct production planning processes and
activities, and allocate production to match sales and
supply in diversified products.

By building and maintaining relationships with internal or
external customers, the Inventory Planner has a key role
in executing the strategy defined by the Marketing and
Sales teams as a point of contact with Operations,
Logistics and Business Execution.

Key Accountabilities
•Involved in developing commercial allocation strategy for
the respective areas
•Execute commercial inventory management and commercial
strategy under management of Inventory Planning Manager
•Ensure continuous improvement of procurement processes
and procurement execution
•Create customer loyalty through excellence in quality,
service, delivery and execution
•Develop, maintain, and improve organisation-wide
visibility and management processes for Company inventory
•Maintenance and execution of stock transfer orders in SAP
•Track and maintain inventory according to agreed group-
wide levels, driven by working capital requirements as
outlined in the annual budget
•Work closely with the Logistics Team to minimise the
variances spend due to variances in the supply chain

Ihr Profil

Ausbildung / Weiterbildung:

Erfahrung(berufliche Tätigkeitsfelder, Branche):
Qualifications / Experience
•Minimum Bachelors degree, ideally in logistics or
supply chain management
•3 – 5 years of experience within a Commercial and/or
logistics environment in a production / inventory planning
•Relevant experience in a commodity goods industry is
•Proven understanding of all operational supply
chain, production and commercial related processes
affecting inventory management.
•A proven background in working with inventory and/or
production management systems.
•Excellent analytical skills, with great attention to
•Advanced ERP knowledge (SAP) and skills in data analysis
tools (e.g. Microsoft excel, access)
•Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Other languages as French and German is an advantage to
maintain relations with all stakeholders in the business
