As a Junior Sensory Coffee Lab Manager for Nespresso, your main responsibility will be to plan and run panel tasting sessions. You will also do the administration of sensory panels and related activities together with laboratory procedures.
Frequent business trips will be required to our Headquarter at Nespresso International based in Lausanne.
HES Engineer, Technician grade, DUT or Bachelor with major in sensorial methodology, food industry processes or equivalent.
3 years’ experience with strong knowledge in tools and good laboratory Practice
Knowledge in Coffee is a plus
Skills in management/team coordination is required
Good experience in sensory evaluation at technician level
Comfortable with scientific and statistical knowledge (ANOVA, PCA, discriminative tests)
Good knowledge in Windows environment software
Able to handle thorough preparation (meticulous, hands-on, precise to prepare Quality audits)
Able to manage a trained panel
At ease in Communication both oral & written.
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
