Food Process engineer you have been working in a factory for a few years, have successfully led new products till industrialization and want to bring now your technical expertise in a more global organization,

As an Experienced Pet Food Process Development Project Manager you will provide product process platform support by delivering process qualification and developing process expertise to improve the delivery of Innovation & Renovation projects to achieve target 360 product performance.You will also be responsible to lead product development where process knowledge is needed and youwill be responsible to deliver Unit Operations Management programs for those new processes
An experience with extrusion technology is a plus.
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver SOPs for specific I&R products
  • Development and Industrialization of approved briefs to meet I/R Strategy and cost targets
  • Support the Innovation Renovation process, maintaining links for new products technologies with Engineering, Businesses, Research centers, Corporate Units, and protecting / developing / deploying technological know-how
  • Provide process support to the Applications groups’ teams and factories to ensure design for Target TDC.
  • Support the Ingredient platform team to identify process windows for ingredients to optimize plant efficiency (cost saving initiatives...)
  • Provide compliant process solutions SOPs to meet internal and external regulations
  • Maintain health and safety standards and carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and procedures
  • Provide process expertise into relevant training documentation and new SOPs
  • Provide process support to Product Platform team to achieve the defined quality targets and 360 product performance for the selected Innovation & Renovation projects  
Education and experience
  • MSc degree in food industry (e.g Wageningen, AgroParisTech..)
  • Minimum 6 years in food processing industry / consumer goods industry
  • Extrusion knowledge
  • Proven experience in a factory or in a manufacturing environment
  • Track records in Project Management
  • Very good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
