Genentech/Roche is seeking a Clinical Scientist to participate in the development and execution of clinical initiatives within the clinical oncology group. The Clinical Scientist will be a key contributor in building an integrated development plan in late development and will provide support to new development activities, as well as clinical guidance and assessment of future opportunities to advance the science and address unmet needs in oncology clinical development.
CEA-TCB is a novel T-cell bispecific antibody being investigated for the treatment of a broad range of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-expressing solid tumors. CEA-TCB uses a novel 2-to-1 molecular design, uniquely engineered to bring T-cells into close proximity to the cancer cells, leading to T-cell activation and subsequent tumor cell killing.
PhD or PharmD with clinical trial expertise. Expertise in oncology required, with drug development highly desirable. Strong background in clinical trials in an academic or industry setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience at a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company.
The skills required for success in the job include scientific and analytic ability, ability to think strategically and tactically, an interest in applied clinical research, ability to work effectively in multifunctional and multinational teams, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize. The candidate must demonstrate proven ability to evaluate, interpret and present complex scientific data.
